OK. So you walk regularly, and you have a sense of adventurer, but maybe you dont want to push yourself too hard in another country. This could be the trip for you!

After an incredible private jeep ride to Thulo Syabru, where you gain some local knowledge, we walk up to the Holy lakes of Gosainkunda. Along the way we get some panoramic views of the Ganesh Himal and look over into Tibet some 20km away.

We have a day to explore around Gosainkunda, where there are many options to satisfy everyones curiosity.

After this we head down and into the start of the Langtang valley. While this is a fairly established trekking route, we only do a short section before peeling off and into areas that were restricted to foreigners only a few years ago.

The Tamang people came over from Tibet centuries ago, but are closely related both in looks and customs. With this part of the walk you will be doing homestay, where you will spend the evenings in the home of a Tamang family. This is a truly fantastic cultural experience. Dont worry though, as your guide is a local and there will be no issues that can't be easily managed.

From up on the Heritage trail, apart from seeing villages that still have their centuries old traditions, you will be able to get wonderful views into a myriad of mountains, and again, into Tibet.
