Outdoor Adventure Tours
Langtang, Helambu and Gosainkund
Grading - Easy to Moderate
These areas, north of Kathmandu are some of the most spectacular places to experience the Tibetan influence and traditional village life within Nepal. Langtang was the first listed National Park within Nepal in 1971, and for very good reason.
This is a fantastic place to taste trekking in the Himalaya, and there are fewer transport logistics to deal with. It is just as suitable for the first time trekker, as for those that have been back many times. The Langtang Valley is ideal for exploring local villages, climbing small peaks, and accessing glaciers.
There are fewer travellers visiting this region, as it is not so well known. And it is the perfect place to design your own adventure....from 9 to 28 days (and more), and you can make it a wondorous walk up the valley, or you can climb trekking peaks and cross high passes. For the most part it can be done in the tea-house style, but there is also plenty of scope for camping in some awe inspiring places.
We use experienced guides from local villages in this region, so you benefit from them being "in their home town". When we share a cup of tea, or a meal with our guides, these amazing people open our eyes to what it is like to to grow up in the Himalaya, to live in this area, as well as provide insight into their cultures and religions. This exposure to their lives is worth the trip in itself, let alone being surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery you will ever see.
Let us customise an adventure for you to this amazing area. The memories you create will stay with you forever.
